The Aether Project
Charitable Impact
The Aether Project is our charitable arm, with two core missions:
Democratising access to AI for healthcare and humanitarian organisations, with a 100% profit to cause model
Enabling free resources through our digital literacy campaign. We focus on teaching children, elderly people and vulnerable populations how to use technology, as well as raising awareness of ethical and safe AI usage.
Aether AI Research Labs is currently piloting The Aether Project in partnership with Mahan Trust, aimed at transforming healthcare accessibility for 300,000 tribal individuals in Melghat. By integrating advanced artificial intelligence, our initiative seeks to increase digital access for doctors, patients and nurses, advancing patient care and research. Central to our mission is the enhancement of NGO data collection processes, achieved through the implementation of streamlined, agentic AI applications designed specifically for various NGO sector requirements. This project not only promises to improve healthcare delivery but also fosters greater connection and support for the tribal people of Melghat.
Mahan Trust is a distinguished non-governmental organisation (NGO) based in India that has gained recognition for its innovative research in indigenous healthcare, published in esteemed medical journals such as The Lancet and BMJ. With a mission to enhance health outcomes through culturally relevant practices, Mahan Trust actively engages in international surgery camps each year, providing vital surgical services to underserved communities. Additionally, the organisation continually seeks dedicated volunteers to support its various projects, making a significant impact on healthcare accessibility. For those interested in contributing to these meaningful initiatives, we encourage individuals to reach out for volunteering opportunities at Mahan Trust (www.mahantrust.org) or Aether AI Research Labs.
The Aether Project with Mahan Trust represents a collaborative effort that unites researchers from India, the UK, and various international partners to leverage over 20 years of quantitative and qualitative indigenous healthcare data. This initiative focuses on the development of technology and software integration for remote and underserved areas. By harnessing the power of AI, the project aspires to streamline processes and improve accessibility to vital medical resources. We are currently seeking volunteers with expertise in medical and technology research who are passionate about contributing to rural development. Join us in making a tangible impact in communities that require urgent support and advancement.
100% of the profits and proceeds made from The Aether Project's AI healthcare and NGO initiatives will go directly to Mahan Trust. This model, inspired by Small Steps Charity's longstanding committment to ethical funding, will ensure technology can benefit those who need it most.
